A recent study done by CPA Australia has uncovered the main reasons Australian employers are increasingly hiring more temporary and contract staff.  The results are as follows:

   

 

 

60% Of businesses use temps and contract staff to overcome work patterns, business income and lack of work. 

   

 

 

52% Use temps to reduce costs and 31% use temps to reduce the compliance
 burden

   

 

 

30% Of businesses cited unfair dismissals as a key factor in hiring temp and contract staff.
